This was an awesome game my dude! I always love aliens but you capture the strangeness and the unknown horror that dealing with something like that would bring! Very cool and very fun, I recommend completely! Here is my gameplay video, sub and help my channel grow!

Scary story! Loved that graphics style :D

This was so good at creating a feeling of unease. It had a bit of a Skinamarink vibe and I love that it was surreal but only to a point where it still felt immersive (and not that surreal that you loose relatability with the real world which usually drains a game of scares).

This was a really fun and interesting way to show someone's psyche as well as their mindset and how they are going through their deteriorating mind. The strong visuals and sounds very pulled of well!

The gameplay itself though didn't match that as much; the walking around back and forth could have really shown how the main character's mind was falling apart well, but nothing really happens as the player goes back and forth and sometimes it felt like things weren't triggering. Stuff could have been shown in the windows and things could have moved around more to show that there was actually something wrong happening.

I liked how it was heavily alluded to that the character had a mental illness and that was the real reason for the disappearances, but that could have been shown better by alluding it throughout the walking parts of the game as it felt more like an abduction game than what it revealed at the end.

Other than that, I liked how the game was broken in parts and had a conversation in between; it added a lot to the story overall and was done pretty neatly! Good luck on future projects

Absolutely loved this! Always keen for alien abduction stuff

A really unsettling alien abduction tale, great work

I really enjoyed the story and the suspense throughout playing. It generally made me very anxious my heart stopped when I saw "it". Very fun horror game :))))))

Interesting game, enjoyed it!

Atmospheric short game

awesome atmosphere! Great game

If the aliens wanna catch hands from making so many problems, then so be it lol

I appreciate how this game respects my choices. allowing me to shape the story and world around me.

The attention to detail is astounding. it's clear a lot of love went into making this game.

I love playing games with this theme, I liked the graphics and the story, remember the movie Signs, anyway, you did a great job, I enjoyed playing it, it was fun, keep it up

Gameplay PT-BR

Made a video

Spooky atmosphere! Any chance you're inspired by "The fourth kind" and "The Mothman Prophecies" movies? lol Another great game! I did get stuck in the photos! I kept clicking and it wouldn't go to the next one. Until it did and ended up skipping a photo >_< Also the head bob had me laughing lol

Checked out a couple of videos to compare, and it seems like some people (including me!) are experiencing a bizarre bug with the head-bob animations where you bob around like a jack rabbit cranked out on amphetamines. really like your stuff and i wanted to play this too but it was unfortunately kind of unplayable. like i never get motion sickness from games but this did it. playing on windows 11 if thats relevant.

Sorry about that! New build with a fix should be out this week

absolutely adored this, really uncomfortable feeling throughout, the atmosphere was pitch-perfect and the longer the game goes on the more you start to think that somethings not right and maybe it isn't actually happening the way you think it is, loved it

Now this - this was the classic alien abduction story done terrifyingly right.

There's a lot of ways to go with tropes that are now so classic they are considered goofy. One is to try and reinvent them entirely... another is to try and portray them as straight as possible and look for the fear in it. You did this wonderfully with Missing Time.

Fractured memories. Shambling around a dark house. The warped narrator voice. The glimpses you catch. All of it makes for en engaging abduction story, and one of the best told in the jam.

The main issue I find is with character movement - the headbop is so fast and frantic it's downright ridiculous, as is the character's speed for running around in such a small house, and it just ended up making otherwise scary moments comical.

But that said - great take on the idea.

Nice game! You created a great atmosphere, the lighting a static effect really worked to make the situation feel 'off' as if it's unclear if the events are really happening. I liked the inclusion of the UFO TV show, really adds to the implication that the aliens were simply a delusion we created.

thanks so much for playing it and making a video. I really appreciate it. You definitely got the exact vibe I was going for!

Boring and not scary.
I felt like I was "missing time" while playing it.
The only thing that I actually enjoyed was watching the TV videos about the real UFOs.

thanks for checking it out!

Sure, you're welcomed... I guess.

This Was Great

Thanks for playing and making a video too <3

This game was really cool and scary! It's my first alien abduction game and i enjoyed it a lot! The atmosphere and graphics were eerie which really made this game for me!

Awesome! Thanks for checking it out!

Bugs and tips: The game froze when taking photos; The texts are very fast and I couldn't read them (English is not my native language and I can only understand them by reading); The VHS effect is very strong and dark, making it very difficult to see. I really like the style of your games, but I couldn't finish this one.

what do you mean by taking photo's?

I managed to see two photos that we had to click on to pass. In the second photo, which had 3 lights in the sky, the game froze and I could no longer progress.

oh weird, sorry about that!

Interesting. Sorry about blank screen sometimes, I thought it was the Time Lapse (Missing Time) in game (laugh). However I liked to much. It happened because some DLL isn't released for my interpreter (wine) to run windows game to Linux OS. But keep chill, I appreciated to much it that it isn't any issue to me buddy.
